The Myofascial Release approach to women’s health is the most thorough, gentle, and effective approach available amongst current therapies offered. Our philosophy is based on the structure of the entire pelvic and abdominal cavity by addressing mechanical torsions, interrupted neurological pathways, and superficial and deep fascial restrictions. These in turn create adverse force compressions and torsions to the visceral organs, osseous structures/joints that then affect the functional balance relationships of the trunk and lower extremity peripheral joints. Treatment of the pelvic floor creates a decrease in tension, internal gripping, and pain while facilitating weakened muscles to re-establish their role in the balance of the pelvic/abdominal cavity.
Sensitive structures of the chest, axillary region, neck and shoulders are treated for balance of mechanical structures by pressing on tissues of the breasts and lymphatic system, including pre and post surgical scar tissue and lymphatic duct release.
